The Japanese winger, then just 20 years old, was making his mark in the football world as a promising young talent, having joined Arsenal from Dutch side FC Twente in January of that year. The image captures Miyaichi in mid-stride, his eyes focused intently on the ball as he dribbles past a Manchester City defender.
